2016/17
 

Heather Dobson (Former Assistant Coach, Wesleyan University and DIII player at Springfield College):

Heather was a standout attacker at Springfield College. She pursued her masters degree at Wesleyan University and where she also serves as the women's lacrosseassistant coach. Heather is a certified Physical Education and Elementary school teacher, and teaches locally.

Rachel Tringali (Former Division I and III College Coach and DI player at Monmouth Univ):

Tringali graduated from Monmouth University in 2000 with a degree in communication studies and a minor in health studies. Tringali completed her senior season ranked third in the nation for assists per game (2.06) and set a Monmouth record with 104 assists during her collegiate career.  The assist record still stands, while she is currently fourth in the Monmouth record book with 217 points.  Tringali also ranks sixth with 113 goals. In 2002, Tringali served as an assistant coach at Davidson College and is also a former coach at Central Connecticut State University. During the 2004 season, Tringali served as the interim head coach at Springfield College. She guided the team to an 11-5 season, leading the squad into the post season for a third straight year.

Ed Duclos (Former Head Coach, South Windsor High School):

Coach Duke is the former head coach at South Windsor High School (he began the program over 20 seasons ago). He was honored as the 2007 CT Girls’ Lacrosse Coaches Association Division 1 Coach of the Year and the 2009 CT High School Coaches Association’s Coach of the Year. He helped form the Coaches Association for Girls’ Lacrosse (CHSGLA) and was its 1st president (1994 to ’97). Coach Duke is also the head girls’ soccer coach and tennis coach at SWHS, and a girl's lacrosse official.

Kerstin Lindrooth (Springfield College):
Kerstin is pursuing a masters degree in athletic administration at Springfield College and is a certified Physical Education teacher. Kerstin was a four year member of the Springfield College Womens Lacrosse program. She served as a captain during her graduate year at Springfield, and is currently a Springfield College Assistant Womens Lacrosse coach.

April Pollock (Head Coach, American International College): 

April is the Head Coach at American International College in Springfield, MA. In 2010 she led her team in one of their best seasons ever, winning 8 games, and setting new program records. Before becoming the AIC coach she had been assistants at both Springfield and Smith Colleges. During her collegiate career, Pollock was a four-year starter in goal at the University of Connecticut. Pollock is still in the Huskies' records for career goals against average (8.97), career save percentage (.558), career wins (26), saves in a season (195) and saves in a single game (20). She was named Defensive MVP in 2000, and was selected to play in the Division I North-South Senior All-Star game in 2003. 

April offers individual goalies sessions through our Lax Plus Goalie School.

 

YOUTH GOALIE SCHOOL ASSISTANTS


Gabby Anderson: (Springfield College) Gabby will be a Junior goalie for Springfield Lacrosse.

Molly Fitzgerald: (Merrimack College) Molly will be a freshman goalie at Merrimack College.
