LAX PLUS 18/19 Black
Amy Tiernan (Former Division I Midfielder at Umass and Assistant Coach at Springfield College)

Amy is a former standout player at UMASS. She recently completed her masters degree at Springfield College in Social Work. She is a former Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach at Springfield College and has helped the program to national rankings in DIII lacrosse. Currently she is seeking a full time job in Social Work and will continue to coach at the club level.

Christa Morrison (Former player at Mercyhurst (DII) and current Assistant Coach at Springfield College.
Christa was a standout player at Mercyhurst and helped lead this DII program to be conference champions, nationally ranked and successful in the NCAA tournament. Currently Christa works with the defenders and draw specialists at Springfield College.


Ashley Piper (Former player at Central Conn State University and current Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach at Springfield College.
Ashley was as DI midfielder at Central Conn State University. She recently completed her masters degree at Central in exercise Science. She worked three years with Central's athletes in Strength and Conditioning. Ashley works for a training facility in Southington CT and also recently coached at Northwest Catholic. Ashley is a Lax Plus alum.



HEAD COACH: Kelly Gallo: (Springfield College Lacrosse and Field Hockey Assistant-Lax Plus Alum) Kelly is a former Women's Lacrosse player at Springfield College. She was a dual sport athlete and received an undergraduate degree in Physical Education and Health Education. She has received numerous athletic and academic awards at Springfield College. As a senior, Kelly was chosen to represent Springfield College at the NCAA leadership convention. Kelly is a native of Westfield MA and is also a Lax Plus alum. Gallo was the Assistant Lacrosse and Field Hockey Coach at Springfield College and was a teaching fellow in the Physical Education department. Gallo recently completed her masters degree in Athletic Administration. She worked at Portsmouth Abbey in RI for the 2016-2017 school year as an Assistant AD and Head Women's Lacrosse and Field Hockey coach. Gallo teaches Physical Education in Longmeadow.

Ed Duclos (Former Head Coach, South Windsor High School)

Coach Duke has been coaching with Lax Plus since 2011. He is the former head coach at South Windsor High School (he began the program over 25 seasons ago). He was honored as the 2007 CT Girls’ Lacrosse Coaches Association Division 1 Coach of the Year and the 2009 CT High School Coaches Association’s Coach of the Year. He helped form the Coaches Association for Girls’ Lacrosse (CHSGLA) and was its 1st president (1994 to ’97).

HEAD COACH-Marci Mullady (Northwest Catholic High School) 
Marci is currently a coach of the 2012 CT Class S State Champions, Northwest Catholic High School. She is highly involved with lacrosse in CT and coaches at Sportsworld in East Windsor, CT. Marci graduated from Springfield College, where she was a member of the lacrosse team.  She is a certified Special Education teacher in East Hartford CT and recently completed her administration certification for the state of CT.

Tinita Larmann: (Former Coach at the Coast Guard Academy-DIII school and current coach at Ledyard High) 
Tinita is a former youth coach for Lax Plus club and will now bring her expertise of coaching at the DIII college level and high school level to our high school program. Tinita has two daughters that went and is going through the Lax Plus program. 

AC's Goalie Training School

Lax Plus is proud to announce the 2017 fall goalie training program will now be headed by former Yale Assistant Coach and current Head Coach at American International College, Ashley Casiano Ashley is entering her second season as the head women's lacrosse coach at AIC. Casiano joins AIC after spending the 2014-15 seasons as the assistant coach at Division I, Ivy League, Yale. During her time with the Bulldogs, Casiano worked extensively with the goalies. Casiano attended Division I Marist College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. as a student-athlete where she excelled both on the field and in the classroom. She was twice named to the Metro Atlantic All-Conference second-team as a goalkeeper during her junior and senior seasons. Casiano was also named to the MAAC All-tournament team during her freshman and senior seasons as well as being an All-Academic team member.

Casiano currently sits tied for first in career wins with 22 and is third in goals against average (11.20) while being fourth in both saves (491) and save percentage (.448) in the Red Foxes' career record books.
